Why are we doing all of this?

To raise needed money for our great local animal rescue groups in the Florida Keys and second, we love country music and want to bring it to your greatest fans in Marathon Florida.
Every year we want this music festival to be one of the most sought-after and attended music festival in south Florida. We’re a drive away and so close to Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and Palm Beach and Fort Myers as well as all the other cities at the very tip of south Florida including the people in the Keys.
Come be a part of the Marathon Music Festival - songwriting community while helping our local animal rescue groups that need our love and support.

Everyone knows Key West and Key Largo but Marathon is kept in their shadows in comparison.
What’s great about Marathon Florida? We’re a well-kept secret to anyone who loves to go deep sea fishing and all kinds of water sports.
We’re the perfect destination for flocks of snowbirds looking to enjoy the tropical sun in winter. And great family friendly vacation homes for large family reunions that want to get away from the mainland and unwind.

This is what we ask of you and your band!
To write a song from a list of our topics about the Florida Keys we’ll give you (these songs will hopefully help us promo our hometown in the Keys) especially since you wrote them in the Keys.
At the end of your stay, we would love for you to perform the song you wrote for us. While our audience gets to choose the best songs in our song contest. Of course, we would love you to play a few other notable tunes before you leave the stage.
