Two Free Weeks - Florida Keys Vacation Rental for a Song!

 

"Creating Great Memories and Songs in the Florida Keys!"

What are we looking for?

 

Several Songwriters and Country Music Bands who can write songs for us about the Florida Keys. We will give you a two week vacation rental you can share with your songwriters and band members (3 Beautiful Waterfront Vacation Villas - sleeps 44 people total) to enjoy your vacation on "island time"! In exchange for songs to help us promote our home town and the Florida Keys! We keep the songs and you keep the memories (fishing, eating, drinking and just plain no problems!). At the end of the week on a single day your group will preform the song you wrote for a crowd of country music fans and they will vote on the best song from those participants at the Marathon Music Festival. Marathon Music Festival will be held on

Nov. 2022 on one night in the Marathon Park. We'll have food trucks, drinks and of course great music.

It’s not totally, Free…. because of course we all know …. nothing in life is free.

 

Here is what we want from you….

We need to promote our beloved Marathon Florida. Everyone knows Key West and Key Largo but Marathon is kept in the shadows in comparison to the other Keys. What’s great about Marathon Florida? We’re a well-kept secret to anyone who loves to go deep sea fishing. We have tons of all kinds of water sports and boating. We’re the perfect destination for flocks of snowbirds looking to enjoy the tropical sun in winter months. And we have great family friendly vacation homes for large family reunions that want to get away from the mainland and unwind.

This is what we're asking of participating songwriters and country bands!

 

To write a song from a list of tops about the Florida Keys we’ll give you (these songs will hopefully help us promo our hometown in the Keys) especially since you wrote them in the Keys. At the end of your stay, we would love for you to perform the song you wrote for us. While our audience gets to choose the best songs in our song contest. Of course, we would love you to play a few other notable tunes before you leave the stage.

Why are we doing all of this?

​

To raise needed money for our great local animal rescue groups in the Florida Keys and second, we love country music and want to bring it to your greatest fans in Marathon Florida. Every year we would like this music festival to be one of the most sought-after and attended music festival in south Florida. South Floridians are only a drive away and so close to Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and Palm Beach and Fort Myers as well as all the other cities at the very tip of south Florida including the people who live in the Keys.

 

Come be a part of the Marathon Music Festival - songwriting community while helping our local animal rescue groups that need our love and support.
